Jesuit Refugee Service UK accompanies, serves and advocates for refugees and forced migrants. In the UK, we have a particular concern for asylum seekers in detention centres or made destitute.

This blog will include posts from refugees connected with JRS-UK about their experience of living as a destitute asylum seeker in the UK or things they are passionate about, and posts from volunteers or staff who accompany them. We will also post links to other poems, pictures and testimonies offered through our associated projects to provide insights and inspiration for us all. Any of the views represented on this blog may not be the position or policy of Jesuit Refugee Service UK and should be read as personal perspectives or reflections only.
